So Bijal, Are you excited about coming to work after a long time of WFH?
It’s exciting to be back to work. However, there will be instances where WFH culture will be there till we are completely safe from the Pandemic. The company has considered & asked us to opt for a hybrid model of work which gives efficiency & reduced overheads on any organization. The companies may implement this policy as a permanent solution for seamless working.
What do you like most about your job & your team?
My job for the company is keeping everything (financials) safe, secure & profitable.
It provides me an opportunity to grow as a professional & building leadership skills by coaching people around me.
My team is a mix of fun-loving and dedicated people who stand in support in time of need. Overall, it’s a decent one.
What would you have done (career-wise) if you were not in this current job?
If I were not in my current job, I would have been at another job at some other company.

Do others provide you with recognition for your accomplishments at work?
Yes, there are times for which I had received appreciation: when we had successfully set up a DBS Bank services during lockdown when we all were working from home and had limited access to documents, as most of it was in the office. But we (my team) did our best and had successfully started DBS Nodal for settlement which was a hurdle to achieve with many documentations.
But as an individual, I still feel there is a long way to go, to achieve my targets.
If you could change one thing about working here, what would it be?
Well, it’s not a “change” but wishes & suggestions to improve, identify and plan ways to motivate people at work, especially the team. I would plan to arrange a picnic once a year which would be compulsory for all to join since this is the only way where we meet other team members & a build a bond, as currently most of us don’t know each other which I think as an organization needs to be improved.
I hope my HR reads this & plans something. Hihihi...

You are a fun-loving person and always soft by heart and very grounded. I have not seen you getting hyper in any situation and shouting at anyone. Hope to continue seeing you in the same way.
